Local Northern BC Therapy Resources

The neat thing about being one of few private Occupational Therapists working in Northwest BC is all the different types of clients I’ve been able to connect with through various employers. My goal is to increase education and access to supports through service providers, to the various communities in the area.

Below are other Rehabilitation Organizations I am currently employed with and am happy to provide more information for any clients that may be interested in learning more.

• My role with CTC is primarily serving adult and senior clients via referrals from WSBC, ICBC, VAC, etc. to primarily Terrace, Kitimat, Prince Rupert and Smithers areas. CTC has a pediatric office in Kelowna called Kids Creative Therapy (KCT). KCT serves primarily Kelowna & Kamloops and they also offer virtual services for all other BC communities.

• My role with NTS has been recently providing services to Indigenous communities in Northwest BC serving both children and adults.

Northern Health - Haida Gwaii

• In recently accepting a causal OT position with Northern Health, I will be providing services to adults and seniors in Haida Gwaii to provide support with equipment prescription, home safety/independence, and anything else that may warrant an assessment/visit.
